Getting to and from the terminal
Holyhead passenger ferry terminal, located close to the town centre, is conveniently situated at the end of the A55 dual carriageway approximately 1 hour 40 from the city of Chester. It is 2 hours from Liverpool, 2 hours 20 from Manchester and 3 hours 15 from Birmingham. If you are travelling from London and the South it will take between 5 and 6 hours driving by car. There is a sizeable long-stay parking lot available with a park and ride facility servicing the main Terminal 1.
