From Copenhagen to Norway

Copenhagen has three ferry terminals: Langelinie, Nordre Toldbod and Ocean Quay. When getting around Copenhagen note that you can only purchase tickets on-board buses with Danish cash, credit cards are not accepted.

From Ocean Quay

To Copenhagen Airport take bus number 25, which only runs during the summer, from the bus stop Oceankaj towards Nørreport Station. Get off at Nørreport Station and take the metro to Copenhagen Airport, it should take around 40 minutes. Outside of summer, take bus number 27 Oceankaj bus stop towards Østerport Station. Then take the regional train to Copenhagen Airport, it should take around 50 minutes and you will need to purchase a 3-zone ticket costing 36 DKK. If you want to take a taxi then the trip will cost around 500 DKK and should take around 40 minutes.

To Copenhagen Central Station take bus number 27 from Oceankaj bus stop to Østerport Station. Then take the S-train towards Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at København H or Copenhagen Central Station.  It should take around 30 minutes and you will need to purchase a 2-zone ticket that costs around 24 DKK. A taxi will cost around 350 DKK and will take around 30 minutes.  

To Copenhagen City Center, you can either choose to go to Copenhagen Central Station or Nørreport. Nørreport can be reached in the summer period by taking bus number 25 from the bus stop at Ocean Quay, which goes directly to Nørreport Station. You can also take bus number 27 all year round to Østerport Station and then take the S-train in the direction Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at Nørreport Station. You will need to purchase a valid 2-zone ticket, costing around 24 DKK.

Taxi to Kongens Nytorv: the trip will cost approx. 250 DKK on week days and approx. 275 DKK at the weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the trip is approx. 20 minutes. 

For passengers with cars, Ocean Quay terminal has a public car park about 50-100 meters from the ships. It is possible to pay for parking with a credit card, no advance reservation is possible. The prices are DKK 120 per day (calendar days 00-24) or DKK 630 per week. 

From Langelinie

To Copenhagen Airport take bus number 26 from the bus stop Indiakaj and get off at Kongens Nytorv. Then take the Metro line M2 towards Copenhagen Airport., it should take around 40 minutes. You will need a valid 3-zone ticket costing around 36 DKK. In a taxi, the trip will cost around 500 DKK and should take around 35 minutes.

To Copenhagen Central station, take bus number 26 from Indiakaj bus stop and get off at Østerport Station. Then take the S-train in the direction Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at København H (Copenhagen Central Station) it should take around 20 minutes and you will need to purchase a 2-zone ticket costing around 24 DKK. In a taxi, the trip will cost around 250 DKK and takes around 20 minutes.

To Copenhagen City Center you can either choose to go to Copenhagen Central Station or Nørreport. Nørreport can be reached by taking bus 26 from Indiakaj to Østerport Station. Then take the S-train in the direction Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at Nørreport Station it should take about 15 minutes and you will need to purchase a 2-zone ticket costing around 24 DKK.  There is also a Hop on Hop off bus that stops at Langelinies around 195 DKK. A taxi to Kongens Nytorv costs about 150 DKK and takes around 15 minutes.

There is no long-term parking at Langelinie. If you are boarding your cruise ship here, the nearest indoor car park is in Dronningens Tværgade 4, 1302 Copenhagen, it costs DKK 320 per day.

From Nordre Toldbod

To Copenhagen Airport walk 10 minutes to Esplanaden (Store Kongensgade) and take the 1A bus to  Kongens Nytorv. Then take the Metro line towards Copenhagen Airport, it should take around 40 minutes. You’ll need to purchase a 3-zone ticket costing around 36 DKK. A taxi trip costs approx. 475 DKK and takes around  30 minutes.  

To Copenhagen Central Station walk 10 minutes to Esplanaden (Store Kongensgade) and take bus 1A towards Avedøre Station and get off at Hovedbanegården, it should take around 30 minutes and youll need to purchase a valid 2-zone ticket costing around 24 DKK. In a taxi, the trip costs approx. 250 DKK and takes about 20 minutes.  

To Copenhagen City Center, you can either choose to go to Copenhagen Central Station (directions can be found above) or Nørreport. Nørreport can be reached by taking the 1A bus from Esplanaden (Store Kongensgade) then get off at Østerport Station and take the S-train towards Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at Nørreport Station. You’ll need to purchase a valid 2-zone ticket costing around 24 DKK. 

Unfortunately, there is no long-term parking at Nordre Toldbod. If you are boarding your cruise ship here, the nearest indoor car park is in Dronningens Tværgade 4, 1302 Copenhagen, it costs DKK 320 per day.
