Guide of Hermioni

Ermioni is in the south of the Peloponnese peninsula and has an important history which is evident in every corner of the town. The town was first inhabited by the Mycenaeans and later became an ally of the Spartans during the Peloponnesian war remaining a prosperous centre for a long time, until the fall of the Roman Empire.

Beaches

Ermioni has many beautiful beaches to visit, such as Paralia Kouverta, but not all of them are suitable for bathing as on one side the water is very low and the other side is often windy.

The cave of the pirates

The Katafyki Canyon is not to be missed, with its enchanting caves that were used as a hiding place for pirates and were formerly known as the door of Hades.
