Port of Rovinj

The port of Rovinj on the Istrian peninsula, welcomes you with the church of St. Euphemia. The port and the marina have been recently renovated and modernized. The port is well sheltered from the Bora winds, that made the port of Rovinj to become an important strategic port in the last few centuries. The islet of Santa Caterina protects the port and the coast.

Under the Serenissima, this port was a hive of activity for fishermen and traders. Over time its  function has certainly changed and today it is mainly a tourist port that welcomes all types of boat.

How to reach the port of Rovinj

The port can be reached by car along the A1 towards Ljubljana and then the E751 that leads to Croatia. You will reach Rovinj along the D303 road and from here you have to follow the signs to Porto Settentrionale. Rovinj can also be reached by buses departing from Mestre, Venice and Trieste. The nearest airport is Pula, around 35 km away.
